Take Spirituality to the Next Level!

A Captain is a person who brings a group to White House every year for a retreat.  Since our beginnings in 1922, the Captains are what have made White House work.  Ninety years later they are just as important to our success!

Captains recruit for White House.  They inform people about what we do and they personally invite them to come.  This could take place at the parish level or they might bring groups of family and friends.  They'll also work with their local parishes to get the word out about upcoming retreats and events in things like parish bulletins, etc.  They coordinate with our office to make sure those people interested in attending get properly registered and they help welcome them upon arrival on retreat day.

During the actual retreat we often ask our Captains to be "leaders", serving as the go-to people for anyone who might have questions.

It's a great way to give back and help bring people closer to Christ!  If your parish does not have an annual men or women's White House Retreat group, we'd love to help you start one!  Please contact Joe Parisi in the office at joep@whretreat.org for more information.
