Holy Trinity Sunday 

 In Matthew's gospel for Holy Trinity Sunday, Jesus' final words to his apostles are: "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age."

To develop a relationship with God, we must be baptized.  Baptism is a cleansing with water.  A person is either immersed in water or water is poured over the person.  This cleanses a person of Original Sin and those, who are no longer babies, from all personal sins.  We are all baptized in the name of the Father, and in the name of the Son and in the name of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Trinity.

Sanctifying Grace, the Divine Life of the Father is implanted in the soul at baptism.  Jesus, the Son of God, redeemed the whole world, and saved each of us, by offering up his life and dying on the cross.  Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit continually sends us gifts and graces to strengthen us in life's journey.  Baptism frees one of sins and unites us to our one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

You are invited to join us at White House on Sunday June 7th at 4pm for our annual memorial service.  We will be honoring those retreatants who passed away during 2014.  The event will take place in our chapel.
