Housekeeping Team Lead (Full Time)

Job Outline:
White House Retreat is seeking a candidate for a full-time, 12-month salaried position, with benefits, as Housekeeping Team Leader. This position is part of the Housekeeping Department and reports to the Director of Buildings and Grounds.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working with and providing daily oversight of the Housekeeping staff to ensure timely and thorough preparation of the rooms and common spaces for each retreat.
- Assisting the Director of Buildings and Grounds with administrative duties related to hiring, training, and managing housekeeping and laundry staff.
- Conducting regular inspection of rooms and common spaces to ensure high quality experience for all retreatants.
- Providing hospitality and coordination for special guests of White House.
- Assisting with Retreat Check-in, attending to individual retreatant needs.
- Serving as point of contact for retreatant needs during course of retreats.
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong knowledge and experience with housekeeping and custodial duties
Preferred:
- Experience with managing or coordinating housekeeping teams
- Ability to trouble-shoot basic maintenance issues
